2012 Arneis, Fox Hill Vineyard
Arneis means ‘Little Rascal’ in the Piemontese dialect of northwest Italy due to its difficulty to grow and its low yield. We wanted to highlight the bright and pretty aromatics that Arneis can provide while still giving enough depth in aroma and texture to be compelling. The Arneis was fermented as slowly as possible and then aged on lees in 1/2 neutral French oak and 1/2 stainless steel barrels.
